No Teacher Left Behind
By Julie

Clip to ScrapBook
We are all suffering under this new law. No one knows what to do, so they throw one program after another at us. Just as we learn one...here comes another. I think we should all write to the principal and staff in Arizona
and give our support. We're suffering, but the children are suffering more. Instead of getting enthusiastic, cheerful adults to learn from, they are getting burned-out, sad people who are counting days to retirement. I think the best way to institute change in education, is to keep up with society. We not only have to educate the children, but we have to feed, clothe, and nurture them.
Our children need to go to school for more than the 12 years that are required. We need the first two years to help them get what the parents can't or are unable to give them!
