Lea,
How would you like it if your advisor just showed up unannounced!? Mine did that for her first visit. I was so mad! She stayed for 3 hours, right through my 1h45m planning/team time. We even had parent/teacher conferences set up that I had to miss. You know what i would tell her...that you lesson stands. That is what you planned and that is what you are teaching. Tell her it is in the interest of your students learning that you keep your schedule the same. You don't have to have some awesome lesson planned when she comes. SHe is there to see you teach and that is it. You don't have to put on a show for her. IF I were you I would keep it the same. REMEMBER you have a job to do and that is to make sure your students learn. Bottom line!
