My school just did this... By Amy

we created a school-wide book closet that has been wonderful! The only problem was that the reading specialist and a group of volunteers had to level all of the books. :-) I know they used Fontas and Pinnell. There is

also a part of the scholastic website that could help you. http://teacher.scholastic.com/products/guidedreading/red_booklist.pdf and http://teacher.scholastic.com/products/guidedreading/blue_booklist.pdf These lists

dont have nearly as many titles but they could have one your looking for. I know that when it came down to it, if the team couldnt find the book level...they decided together what level it is! :-)
