Auction
By kat

Clip to ScrapBook
We just had our annual Mardi Gras fundraiser on Friday night and always have an auction---both silent and oral. Each class does a theme basket and parents donate items for the basket. My class did a family fun basket.
We had all kinds of games, outdoor sports equipment, restaurant gift certificates, movie coupons, snack attack(all kinds of junk food), museum membership. Some of the other baskets were auto care, photo, gardening, cooking, camping, beach, mom's spa. We also had people donate money to underwrite the cost of a classroom art project provided by a ceramics studio in town. Each class picked
and item and they all put their thumb print on it and then she wrote their name and dceorated, painted and fired the item. One classes bowl went for $450! We had many more items in our silent auction. The oral auction had some vacations, a sports jersey signed by the local pro team, paintings, etc.

Hope this helps!
