Furlough
By Angie

Clip to ScrapBook
To top it all, now there is a bill before the state legislature to allow districts to force teachers to take 5 days unpaid furlough. Has there been any mention of administrators, state dept. of ed. people taking unpaid leave?? Noooo! And how many thousands of $$ have they wasted developing, scoring, and analyzing PACT, printing school report cards, etc? I love teaching and my children, but grow weary of having to jump through all the hoops the state is putting out there. If our hands were untied and we could REALLY focus on our teaching, then we would see the dramatic improvement so desperately needed in our state.
