that President Bush, the senators and representatives had to spend a week or two in one of our classrooms actually LIVING with the laws they have passed? I wonder just how long it would take them to decide how incredibly stupid they have been in regards to education.The above article could have been describing my school. We will also likely be on "improvement" status next year. Then all h--- breaks loose. Yet our students consistently make a year's progress in reading and math - just not the year they're attending. Our first graders would make fine kindergarteners...
