Will We Be Next?

We seem to adopt so many American education policies that I wonder if our new nationwide testing in years three, five and seven will end up going the same way. We already get reports that tell us whether we are performing at, below or above average within our area and within our state that I wonder how long it will be before our funding is directly related to how well individual schools perform on these tests. Or has that already happened? I am politically challenged so I don't always understand what politicians are talking about!!
