fairness
By teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
As far as teachers treating students fairly, actually the students are treated more fairly by getting an entire half hour to sit down, take a break, visit with each other, and eat lunch. I don't know any teachers who get
this. Most I know, including myself work through lunch and try to eat on the run. The teacher's lounge is often empty at my school. Some days, I just don't have enough time to eat before I have to pick the students up from lunch. They understand if I eat quickly while they are engaged in a short activity after their lunch. They just ate afterall, it's not like they are starving and
I'm waving it in their faces. So as far as being fair to the kids, how about being fair to the teachers? We afterall need our own fuel to run the classroom and keep everyone learning and happy.
