Clip to ScrapBook
i stopped making 3 extra copies of all assignments (thereby giving student permission to lose their worksheets) and i now make only one, mark it with a red X and place it in a binder organized by subject. (they have to copy
it by hand if they lose theirs.

if i need to test a topic and don't need to overkill it, 3 short problems, i write it on a half-sheet and rewrite--copy 1/2 number of times and cut in half. make sense? use half sheet instead of whole.

i go around find stacks of old handouts--cub scouts, baseball, open house invitations that are printed on only 1 side--i keep in a stack of "scratch

paper"--we use this for sketching artwork, or assignments with visuals. sometimes--when i think about it, i use this paper to print out emails that i need to save, and i use these papers when i have to copy something that is only one-sided. (we used to have a basket for this in our copy room to encourage everyone to save this paper and reuse it--it got messy and was pitched--oh well.)
