Don't beat yourself up, you made a slip but you handled it appropriately. To immediately retract and apologize and explain what was wrong was a powerful lesson for your children. You are human and you modeled being responsible for your actions. Jump back on it tomorrow--you cannot let this eat you up. Email me if you need to. Take care!
