A few things to look into
By Rob

Clip to ScrapBook
I recently attended a seminar by "ati" (Appelbaum Training Institute). It was a GREAT seminar that looked at "How to Handle the Hard to Handle Student." They have great info and resources. You can check them out at: www.atiseminars.org (they have AWESOME material!)

However, quickly, the three best proactive strat's are (and you may know this already)
1. consistent medical care
2. daily structure to reduce opportunity for
mood swings
3. keep a mood diary (to record feelings) -
this is great because can show doctor what
child is like in the differtn mood states.

ALSO, check out the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation: 1-847-256-8525 or www.bpkids.org
