I'm not sure the about right thing to do but I have some thoughts. You really only have about a month left of school when you return. If the sub is good and the class enjoys her I would let her stay with them the rest of
the school year. Your going to have to give them up for the next year anyway. Your baby is only a baby once. Enjoy that mom time. It's sad to say but I really don't remember much about my three kids as babies because I went back to work at 3 months. I do remember the time when I was off work for our special bonding.

If you have a good relationship with the sub,you perhaps

could go in a help out as a volunteer or aide a few hours a week. Read to them or help out with special projects. Perhaps you could take the baby with you. You could offer to correct work. You don't have to remain a stranger to your students if you decide to stay home the remainder of the school year.
