I'm very happy for you! It sounds like you have empowered your students to make the positive or negative choices, and they are showing you that they are responsible enough to make the right ones

This sounds a lot like the behavior plan I incorporated in my classroom after attending Marvin Marshall's Raise Responsibility System. Like you, I was thrilled to see how my students were taking responsibility for their behavior, as well as wanting very much to make the higher level behavior choices.

There's so much less stress and power conflict between teacher and student when s/he knows that the choice is his/hers. Sounds like joy of teaching and learning has been restored in your class (and heart)
