oh, yes. remember, most of these people have never been in a classroom or have been out of the classroom much too long to relate to today's youth. Don't think of it as us against them. I usually nod, smile, and then do what I know is best for my kids. Keep a very low profile. Stay positive in public. Think of them as the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz------ when he is seen for who/what he really is he yells, "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN....." They're just empty suits collecting a paycheck and quite impressed with themselves. Sad, isn't it?
