UNION
By mrsb203

Clip to ScrapBook
I just got home from a 2 1/2 hr. meeting as building rep. (Time well spent, especially since we are beginning contract negotiations.)
Besides the salary issues, there are so many other issues that are handled by the union.
Until I became a rep. I didn't realize how uninformed I was. I had no idea of the inconsistant treatment going on within our district, from building to building and from elementary to secondary; how administrators swept things under the rug to make themselves look good. Also with the changes going on in education we need to have someone other than administration to interpret how these
changes will TRUELY effect the teachers in the classroom. Not just our day to day workload but legally also. I could go on and on, but as you can see I am definitly pro-union.
