The Meeting
By Renee

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, it was as bad as I figured. The mom went on about all of the petty stuff I mentioned. The step dad sat in silence. I had an answer to everything mom said and some "concerns" of my own too. Basically the mom just
wanted to sit there and yell at me and tell me I'm a terrible teacher (which I'm not). When I would try to answer her she'd say "I don't want to sit here and bicker." Principal was very objective and supported me without making the mom more angry. However, the mom had called again at the end of the day (day of the meeting) with another gripe. She called three times yesterday and the
principal didn't get to call her back. The principal taked to the child who is happy as a lark and loves me. No complaints. The mom says "Child feels so and so (bad, sad, whatever)" and the child says the oposite and is fine. We (principal and I) can't figure out this mom's agenda. It looks as if the saga will continue...
