I can relate
By Sara Woods

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach K and our kids come to the classroom with breakfast on the go and it's all sugary. Supposively a dietician makes up the menus. Let me tell you, I would love to give her/him my two cents worth. First of all, I really have a problem with the fact that schools are serving breakfast to begin with. It becomes more of a social event than anything else. Also, if we do have to let our kids go to breakfast, why can't they at least try to serve them something that is at least remotely healthy. people (most of them) that are in food service have no idea what it's like to be with kids all day that are on a constant sugar high! ugh!
