I used McGraw-Hill in fourth grade last year. I liked it because it had many resources including a website. It also had everything organized in a way that was easy for me to use. The series had three leveled books (with
each story) that complemented and had the same theme as the corresponding story in the basal. I did not agree with and knew of scientific facts that discounted some of the environmental stories that were used. When I read these stories with my students I made sure to give them the other side of the story and the facts that I knew. Over all I really enjoyed this series, and presently

wish the school I am now at would have this series for 3rd grade. We do have the Lang. series and it is also really good. I just have not had the chance to go through it thoroughly. Hope this helps. If you would like more info e-mail me.
