I have included the frame and and example that I did for this years open house. I've used this with 3rd graders and adults. I think any grade level would enjoy it. I hope you find this useful.

I am
I wonder
I

hear I want I pretend I feel I touch I worry I cry I am I understand I say I dream I try I hope I AM I am a mother and a teacher I wonder if I can do both things well I hear children calling me I see their sweet faces smiling up at me I want to give them what they need I am a mother and a teacher I pretend that

I have it all together
I feel overwhelmed
I touch these lives forever
I worry that I will fail these children
I cry for the children who hurt
I am a mother and a teacher

I understand that I can’t do it all
I say that I will try anyway
I dream of being Wonder Woman
I try to be good enough
I hope that I come close
