Clip to ScrapBook
With NO Child Left Behind, the work is going to keep piling on, and until teachers realize it's not going to get any better, we need to get together, speak out, vote for a union so we have someone to speak up for us. I left my job to write a column about teaching and at the very least it gives teachers a way to speak out without anyone knowing who they are, and it puts some accountability on the leadership. They can't say and do just anything now for fear it will end up in the paper, with quotes. It's working for us. But we still need a union here for protection of rights and someone to fight for pay increases.
