Me too!!
By Laura H.

Clip to ScrapBook
I am doing my ST now and I have a boy like this too. We are writing research papers and the kids had to complete 40 fact forms. He decides he is going to do 65 in one night and then proceed to type is rough draft. This
is 6th grade for crying out loud!!! UHHHH I am so frustrated. I feel like saying,"Could you play dumb for just one day!"

I am out of things to do because I know if I "bust his bubble" he will think that he isn't "good enough". He constantly needs my attention and is always showing me everything he completes. To end a long story, yesterday he was writing a letter to his dad for Dad's

Breakfast next Wednesday. He wanted to say, "My dad makes me feel better when I get criticized," and instead said, "My dad makes me feel better when I get circumcized."!!!! I about lost it. See that's what he gets for trying to be soooo smart! He just needed to use a big word and didn't know what it meant. I told him to look it up. The child's face as he read the definition....priceless.
