Black History Month

You don't say what grade this is for? I am an elementary librarian inour school and have done a co-op teaching unit with our Fourth Grade teacher for about 5 years. We start in January with a week long study of Martin Luther King, Jr. and activites and then spend the whole month of February on Black History starting from the time the slaves arrived and some history of that period. If you would like send me your address and I will send you some of our activites. I have designed this unit myself but will be happy to share it with you if you like.
