tutoring

Clip to ScrapBook
Okay- I know it involves kids- but it's only one kid at a time. Since I enjoy kids so much, I don't mind it. In the suburbs of DC I make $45 an hour doing private tutoring. There are little private companies that will find you clients- but then I only make $30 an hour and taxes are taken out.
Being a teacher, it's easy to find kids to tutor. I put my name on the school list of tutors, and let teachers in my building know. I tutor 3 kids for 4 hours a week....a nice $180 a week. =) In the summer I usually take 5 kids. Keeping the same 3 as during the year, just adding 2. I set my own schedule. I usually tutor Monday and Wed. mornings from 8-1. NICE MONEY.
