Becoming a teacher

When I first started school their was a class that we were required to take. It was called Introduction to Education. Basically, we had to take the course to see if we really wanted to become teachers. The course required us to have experiences in the classroom. Or you could go and volunteer at a school in various grade levels. Make observations of the teachers and work with the students. You will be required to get atleast a BA degree before you can teach, then you will need to take a teacher certification test for your state. Where are you located?
