DO IT NOW!!
By Brooke

Clip to ScrapBook
I would recommend that you get a degree plan signed as soon as possible. When I was going to the community college I took two semesters of classes before talking to an advisor and getting a degree plan signed. Big Mistake!!
I did not need the classes I took and therefore wasted two semesters. Then when you transfer to a university make sure you have one also. Once you sign a degree plan the school can not change it. This means that if the laws change or requirements for your degree change you do not have to do them. You only have to do what is on your degree plan. I signed my degree plan one day in
April and then May 1 some new requirements came out and I would have had to take 4 additional classes if I had not of signed. You have to watch the school even if you do have a degree plan though, because my school tried to make me take the 4 classes anyway. I told them that my degree plan did not require it and they waved the classes. Schedule a appointment as soon as possible. Good luck, I hope this has helped.
