MOMS & DADS FIND STRESS, TOO!

Dear teachers,We are the parents of a 3rd grader. We have a new strategy for you. You can do what our school system is doing to the third grade parents. First, write a threatening letter that they all have to show up to | the school on Tuesday night or be in trouble with the principle. Tell the moms and dads, that it's their responsibility to discover whether or not their kids can pass the TAKS reading test, since the teachers just do not know how it's going to turn out. Then, rename summer school "Summer Academy", so that your parents will not feel like they are the bearers of stupid idiot children when | |
the kids are banished to summer school for remediation. Works every time!P.S. We have found our next careers - overflow 3rd grade teachers. We feel there will be a labor shortage in this area of elementary education. Or, perhaps we could open a new division for the Sylvan Learning Centers - the SSA - The Sylvan Summer Academy (for third graders).
