Master's Degree Online
By cmn

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Joyce,
I am currently working on my master's online through University of Phoenix online. There are many pros and cons.
Pros:
You don't have to drive to class. All of my work is done online and at home.
You
can choose when you want to "go to class." It's nice because you can work it around your schedule. I can get school work done at school and not worry about it.
The classes are generally done in three to six weeks.
Cons:
You don't necessarily get the one on one contact with the professor.
If the server at the school is on the blink, this can lead to delays with assignments
posting.
It's difficult to know exactly what the professor wants.

Online classes are nice to take, but they can get frustrating. I do like it because I don't have to commute and I can do it all at my house. I've also met some great other teachers from acroos the US and Canada and it's great to trade stories with them!
It's a lot of work, but I know in the end it will be worth it!
Good luck with whatever you decide!
