microscopes?

If you have microscopes, then you can use prepared slides to compare animal vs. plant cells, etc... If you have to teach the parts of the cell, maybe go with a simple analogy, like the "school"- we have the principal who makes the big decisions, just like the nucleus, etc... 5 lessons seems like a lot for Grade Fives! How in-depth do you have to go?
