teachers not grading
By martha

Clip to ScrapBook
I have noticed a trend on my campus that really bothers me. . .our elementary campus is next-door to the high school and juniors/seniors come over here daily as "volunteers". I've noticed these girls sitting together at
a table in the workroom GRADING sets of papers (more specifically, TESTS) for the 4th grade teachers. How are you supposed to have any kind of clue about the types of errors the kids are making if you're not doing the actual "grading" of their work???? I've seen my share of "textbook queens," too-----just start the year at the front of the book and plow your way to the back of it. . .oh,
yeah, and don't forget to do all the ditto sheets, too! Sort of makes you wonder what they'd do if their teachers' edition came up missing----wasn't there a Simpson's episode like that??!?!?
