100 Day Parade
By martha

Clip to ScrapBook
Our "100th" Day is tomorrow (January 30th). Our primary classes--Prekindergarten through 1st---are preparing for the annual 100 Day Parade. Each child took a letter home about a week ago and parents are encouraged to decorate a t-shirt, hat, etc. with "100" of something (buttons, Fruit Loops, pennies, etc.) to wear in the parade. At 8:00 tomorrow morning, the principal will lead the procession through the school---they play music over the loudspeaker system. Everyone has a great time and it's great to see all of the creativity that goes into some of the shirts. We also do something similar in April---an Easter bonnet parade (boys can decorate paper crowns or baseball caps, instead)
