I would politely inform this rude child that I would not aknowledge(sp?) her rude behavior, (which you are so gracefully doing now) and really make a point of ignoring her. I suspect she is doing this for the audience of her peers. And then document, document, document. Good luck, it sounds like you are a wonderful teacher and I am sorry that you have to put up with this.
