Hello...this sounds very similar to a student I have. She was diagnosed with Sensory Integration Disorder. It is confused quite often with ADD or Autisim. She is in 1st grade and has weekly OT,PT. She started therapy around 2 years ago. Please suggest that the parents have the child checked for this. It is very new and some pediatricians have not heard of it. It was actually diagnosed by a PT who have known of this condition for years. Good Luck.
