How crazy. My heart goes out to you for keeping that child safe. I can certainly see why people hanging around would drive you crazy. I didn't mean to say that parents should hang around like that. I was a teacher and that drove me nuts too. If she feels that strongly, then she should homeschool her children too. I can sympathize with the mom being scared and nervous. But of course her behavior is goign to raise a kid who's a little crazy and mistrustful of the world.I agree with not letting our kids get that message. My daughter has no idea why I really homeschool her. She doesn't even know about 911 and the news is never on in our house.
