Clip to ScrapBook
Beside my homework trays I have a chart with the student's names. I also have the days of the week and our "usual" homework listed (Math Tues-Fri. & Spelling sentences on Wed.) across the top. When the children turn in their homework, they must check beside their name. It is easy for me at anytime to see who turned homework in. Of course there are days I forget to check before we leave, and there are also days when the famous words ~ "I forgot it on the kitchen table" ~ are spoken. I usually let them bring it in the next day, but occasionally I forget to ask the next day. I may ask one more time in the grading period, then I give a zero!
