Well done! By Grace

All I can say is congratulations for keeping your cool for so long. I can just imagine how you are feeling having to face her every day. it's just a pity your principal didn't get your side of the story and put it to the father. Did he stand up for you at all or did he just let this man rant and rave? I hope he gave you some support and will continue to do so with this insolent child. When you see parents like that you can see why the children are as they are. Obviously the parent has no respect for authority and likes to get one up on anyone in that position. The only advice I can offer you is to | | try to stay out of a confrontational situation with her. You have to keep your good rapport with the rest of the kids. It sounds to me like they appreciate you and are on your side, but are just not strong enough to stand up to her. You may get some help on the website www.disciplinehelp.com They list different types of behaviours, why they may happen, how to react and more importantly, how not to react. You may be boiling inside but try not to show it in front of her. I really wish you all the best with this. Perhaps all the teachers who teach her should go to the principal and put forward a united front. Good luck and let us know how you get on. Grace
