act it out
By cecilia

Clip to ScrapBook
We act out the defintion of a syllable. "It is a word (hands outstretched) or part of a word (hands come together) with a talking vowel (make a "v" with thumb and pointer finger of left hand, and a talking symbol with the thumb and pointer of the right hand and between the "v". My kids love acting it out. We discuss the meaning afterward.
