Rug area By Wynona

I teach third grade. I have carpet in my reading center. I do not think this is inappropriate because when they are sitting in there I really would rather them sit on the carpet than on the bare floor. I am going to try to put carpet in my other "floor" centers.

When I began teaching 5th grade I did the same for the reading center.

I hope this is what you meant by "rug area".
