They could bring pillows and blankets for some comfy reading. There could be a buddy reading time when they read with students from younger grades. What about a raffle ? Anyone caught reading at a designated time gets their name in the raffle. Names are chosen to receive a small prize. What about having kids design advertisements? They can design a poster for the book they are reading and share it with the class. I'm not sure of the time frame for your reading, but you could just have random times when you ring a bell or a buzzer and it's DEAR time (drop everything and read). Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head. Have fun with it!
