trail mix

We had our 100th day of school 2 Friday's ago and we also made trail mix. The students prepared placemats in advance (large drawing paper) with 10 circles on it. Each circle has a requirement for the student to complete. Such as: Do you like chocolate? ___yes ___no (chocalate chips in the trail mix), What other food do you like that is white? ______ ( popcorn in the trail mix) Name another compound word? ____ (goldfish in the trail mix), Measure the length of your 10 cheese nips. (ten cheese nips in the trail mix), What other salty foods do you like? (peanuts in the trail mix), etc. It was really neat and the kids really enjoyed it.
