Hi Ben,

I'm wondering if you need to have a like-minded colleague on your campus who is familiar with the "philosophy" of Chomsky, so that you can help each other find the relevancy of his ideas in your instructional strategies?
Use what you have learned from Chomsky to help you become a more creative and effective teacher, so your students can be more successful (even if they have to use worksheets!).
I took language development classes a few years ago, and we studied a number of behavioral and linguist "experts." I liked what I learned about Chomsky and Vygotsky, and I do feel that their contributions

to a child's learning development are woven throughout much of the instructional inservices I have attended (even though their names are not mentioned).

Maybe you could start some sort of lunch hour discussion group for interested teachers--? Or perhaps there's an online Chomsky Chat Board--?

Just some ideas...
