Second Job By Chicago Teacher

Hello. I am currently taking grad. classes for my M.Ed. full time, so I don't have a second job, but I thought I'd try to brainstorm a few ideas for you.My school only pays on a 9-month schedule, so I NEED a summer job | for any income at all. I'm only 25 and just lined up a job for next summer as the program manager for a camp. Yes, it involves kids, but basically I'm going to be the seasonal manager of the camp so it's more dealing with scheduling, paperwork, and supervising staff. It pays about as well as if I got a job as a cashier or clerk, but I wanted to do something that I could be sure would occupy | | my mind so I won't be totally bored.Other not-related-to-kids second careers I can think of off the top of my head: - medical transcriptionist (would require some classes, but my mom works in this field, so I know that at-home transcriptionists can make very good money on a flexible schedule) - aerobics instructor - receptionist/office worker (I did this for awhile in evenings and on weekends. I worked for a car dealership 2-3 nights a week - 4-5 hours each- and then all day Saturday and made pretty good money ($11/hr). Then in the summer, I worked M-F evenings and all day Saturday.) Sorry that isn't that many, but I thought I'd try to help out!
