lunch

I can't give you any help with the lady's attitude--hopefully your principal will take care of it. I can comment on the portion sizes--in our district (as I'm guessing in most), lunches are government-regulated--portions
are specifically sized, and students must take X number of items (to be receiving the daily recommendend amount....). Students pay about $1.00 for the lunch (less or nothing if they qualify--depending on number of children in family and how much family makes)--this cost does not cover the cost of the meal + napkin, tray, condiments, cost of cafeteria workers....The government helps subsidize
this. That explains why adults have to pay something like $1.80--the government won't help pay for our meals because we're adults--makes sense. But the portions have to remain the same. In our district, the meals are broken down, so if you want more of something, you can order a second helping of it, but you have to pay the additional amount--depends on the item: dessert, side, entree--I do this sometimes on foods I like and know won't fill me up. Good luck with your royalty problem. It's not fun to work with someone who is bossy--even when they're the boss!
