Quieting By Donna

Kristen,
When I am trying to get the children ready for circle time I sometimes use a song and the children have to respond to it.
Teacher sings "Are you ready, are you ready?"
Children sing "Yes we are, Yes we are?"
Teacher "Show me how you're ready,
show me how you're ready?"
"Sit Criss Cross, Sit Criss Cross"
The children usually jump on their space and sit criss cross.
