Some tips

Clip to ScrapBook
I had two different ODD kids in two years, one was a boy and one was a girl. (The longest two years of my life.) The best advice I can give you is to never ever lose your temper with them. They love for that to happen. This
is the voice of exp. I lost my cool more than I care to admit. I tried many different things, indvividual tutoring, kindness, etc. What I found to be true about both of them is that they can learn and are capable of learning, only they chose not to. You have to experience a child with ODD to understand that they are hard hard children to deal with. I would go to workshops that
offer concrete solutions/ideas from people who have acutal expeience working with the ODD child. This is the hardest type of kid for me to work with.

I wish you lots of luck.

Jamie
