Shurley Method

Our school also used the Shurley Method one year. It does seem like the students learn more at first. However, they cannot transfer their learning to any other situation. If a sentence is not in that exact format, they cannot find the subject, etc. Like I said, we only used it one year. We went back to a more traditional language textbook after that.
