What are his interests?

I'd found out what he's passionate about and have him do a research project which would/could include making up a story incorporating his passion, making a movie poster about it, maybe a diorama...etc....just let him fly with what ever it is he'd like to learn more about. When he comes up with a topic, together plan what his project will be....let him have imput and part of your imput can be that it be neat in penmanship and organization.
