NYC School Districts
By Valerie

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with the previous post. There are many difficult districts in NYC. However, if you sub day to day in the districts in the previous post, you will work everyday and get to judge where you'd like to apply. Day to day subs make 127.94 per day, however, there are no medical benefits. I personally suggest that you DO NOT let the BOE place you in a position because you'll wind up in the worst school in the worst district. I know this from my own experience, and others I have met have also had the same experience.

Good luck and happy hunting!

Val
