Job Share

I have not personally done a job share, but on my third grade team we have two teachers that do it. They split the subjects to be taught (one language arts and social studies, one math and science) and prep. is much easier. The kids are fine, the parents are fine, and the teachers like it. There are a few glitches you will have to work out like discipline style, communication, etc. It's hard to keep up to speed on what's going on if your only there 2 or 3 days a week. Overall though our teachers that do it enjoy the benefits and they outweigh any problems for them. Good luck!
