Clip to ScrapBook
I have quite a few 5th grade resource students this year. I have an asst. who is teaching a lower level spelling curr. to the lowest and I am in the classroom for inclusion 1 period per day for Lang. Arts. I can help them with lang. arts / spell tests, however, how can I also cover social studies and science tests? This is presuming that math is not on their IEP. The Reg. Ed. teacher needs to call them up and review the directions for the test so they can excel. For me it would be a nightmare if ALL tests were taken in the Resource room. I have a role of 27 students who are spread out from K-5 in a large school. The regular Ed. teacher and the Resource teacher need to collaborate to meet the needs of the student. I know... it's a lot of work.
