sad but true
By Colleen

Clip to ScrapBook
It's sad to say but positive feedback is hard to come by at least where I work. If you feel you are busy and have lots to do then I'm sure your principal and mentor is feeling the same. We seem to have more and more to do
and less and less time. I have worked for at least four different principals and it seems that observations was the hardest for them to accomplish. Sometimes they would obeserve and give no feed back and other times they would not even do it. They seem to get side tracked. It would be nice to know how they feel.Sometimes you don't get feedback until the end of the school year. Check
with the other teachers to find out how good your principal is with following through on things.

One way to judge is if the students are engaged in learing and you see growth in your students.
If the parents seem happy with you. If you had not had any bad news then concider this to be a positive thing. If you feel you are prepared and are doing the best you can then give yourself a pat on the back. The staff at my school try to compliment each other because we never get praise from the principal.
